Simultaneously, he has been active in the Fluxus network since 1969. At that time, he began contributing scores, compositions, objects and performances, collaborating closely with George Maciunas and other artists. Besides his own artistic work, which demonstrates his stance as artist/ experimentalist, he has assembled extensive documentation of Fluxus, as well as organized and participated in numerous Fluxus events worldwide.

From his first encounters with Maciunas in 1969 he began contributing to the Flux Mass and Flux Sports, and writing scores which Maciunas included in these events. He then worked closely with GM for several years on Fluxus matters as well as on the development of Soho Flux-House Cooperatives. When Fluxus was invited to the famous Soho-Berlin exhibition in 1976, Miller was sent ahead to produce the elaborate Flux Labyrinth. He then performed along with Brecht, Filliou, Paik, Ben Vautier, Joe Jones, Watts and others in the Flux Harpsichord Concert. His essential video interview w. Maciunas is well known, translated, cited and widely distributed. After GM departed, Miller organized the Flux-Concert at The Kitchen in NYC in 1979, which he carefully researched from the extant scores, his mission to be inclusive of the many artists. After that point, he continued to organize and present numerous concerts, projects and events (at the requests of Dick Higgins, Alison Knowles, NJ Paik, René Block, and commissioned by the Walker Art Center, Santa Barbara Museum, Whitney Museum and more).
